How to get active

If you'd like to organise your own sporting fundraiser, please download the Team Pink Guidelines and then an application form for simple fundraisers OR an application for more complex events. Individuals and/or teams can get involved.

About Team Pink

The National Breast Cancer Foundation is getting active! The NBCF is launching Team Pink, a new and exciting fundraising program that encourages all people to get active and support breast cancer research.

Our mission

"Working on and off the field, we can beat breast cancer. Team up with Team Pink to raise funds for a cure!"

So it does not matter whether you are running a marathon or a fun run, swimming in an ocean race or shooting goals for your team, you can all be a part of Team Pink!

The Team Pink goals are to:

  • Promote the relationship between exercise, health and breast cancer recovery and rehabilitation
  • Increase the level of awareness regarding breast cancer and breast cancer research
  • Encourage fundraising activities amongst the sport and leisure community

Who already supports Team Pink?

The NBCF has relationships with a number of Sporting Organisations and events from the elite through to the grassroots level in support of raising awareness and also funds for Breast Cancer Research. The NRL One Community Foundation, Netball Australia and Hockey Australia, Triathlon Pink and Tour de Cure have all got behind the Team Pink program this year.

Team Pink also has the support of some key people that we have nominated as our Team Pink Ambassadors including Stephanie Brantz (Channel Nine Sports Presenter), Alex Cullen (Channel Seven Sports Presenter), Jarrod Sammut (Penrith Panthers), Dean Mumm (NSW Waratah and Australian Wallaby), Julian Wilson (Professional Surfer).

We hope to secure more Team Pink Ambassadors in the very near future!
